In early November, Capital City Fruit took its classic truck out for a spin —and ended up front and center at Iowa’s Premier Beer, Wine & Food Expo.  Hy-Vee decked out the truck with apples, grapes and an array of autumn delights to create a display so mouthwatering event goers could not resist.

Held November 8 and 9 in Des Moines this year, the annual event is an opportunity for culinary enthusiasts and industry experts to share their knowledge and their love for the art of food and drink.

City met country on Friday, August 30, when a busload of sales consultants from Reinhart FoodService Chicago arrived at DeGroot’s Vegetable Farms in St. Anne, Illinois, a grower 42 miles from the division’s offices.
